Hello and Happy Tuesday! Today we start our new Tuesday’s Talkabout, where every week we’ll feature how we and you, our remarkable customers, are keeping busy. For the past few weeks we have been gathering information that you have sent us … your blogs, your creations, and your favorite Homespun Hearth products. So, grab a cuppa (my favorite is a non-fat vanilla latte … what’s yours?), get comfy, and let’s just enjoy some time together!
Customer Creations: To start, we want to show you a picture of a beautiful purse that one of our retreat customers made. She recently purchased some of the Colors of the Wind fabric from Homespun Hearth, and what a gorgeous purse she made! The design is from a Butterick pattern (wish we could take credit!) – we love the whimsical nature of the purse that was such a great fit for this fabric – thank you Robbie S from our home state of Colorado!
Customer Blogs: What a great response we had when we asked our customers to send us their blog links – and they keep rolling in! It’s pretty impressive to know that we have so many industrious customers out there. For this inaugural talkabout, we are excited to reveal the first blogger, Martha. Living in Baxter MN, Martha is a mother of two and grandmother of three. She enjoys quilting, sewing, and card-making. Her blog shows that she’s pretty darn busy sewing .. and like us, trying to keep those fingers moving on these cold days. Why don’t you pop in on her and let her know that Homespun Hearth sent you – I’m sure she’ll appreciate the visit! You can view Martha’s “Sew What’s New” blog here. Thank you for sharing, Martha!
Our Team Creations: We also want to highlight some of the creations that folks on our team have been making. I asked them to take pictures of all of the things they’ve made that they have in their homes. Oh My –they’ve been busy, too (and I can’t imagine where they find the time …)! The first creation I’m going to showcase is a quilt that Holly made. Holly is the newest addition to the HSH team, and while she wears many hats, she is being groomed to be our Marketing Director. We’ve learned that Holly is drawn to bright colors, and that she loves stripes and polka dots – I think this quilt really represents Holly in that it is fun and cheerful!
Homespun Hearth Haps: Every November we focus our time on our Give Back Giveaways. This is our 5th annual Giveaway, and we are amazed at how many of you are getting your names entered into the drawing, as well as making Pinterest boards, pinning images, liking us on Facebook and adding posting blogs. You’ve been voting for your favorite BOMs each week, downloading offers from Facebook, and overall coming to Homespun Hearth for many of your quilting and 2014 planning needs! We think you are all winners, so thank you for being a part of this fun event
What’s New: But, for today I want to show you the latest fabric collection we put online .. the Civil War Savannah fabric by Jo Morton! We love the blues and browns of this gorgeous fabric, and the focal floral fabric is so strikingly beautiful! I’m really eyeballing that focal floral for some home dec …
Bonus and More! So, today 11/12/13 is my birthday! I only mention it because I think the date is so cool … and I don’t think it will happen like this again in a VERY long time .. at least not that I’ll be able to appreciate 🙂 My son always says that I’m 29 (love that kid!), but last night he did mention that it’s getting a bit creepy … since he’s now 16 (and my oldest is 21!) But to celebrate the fact that it is 11/12/13 we are offering a really cool discount! Today through Friday, receive $11 Instant Cash Back on any order over $75 (Promotion Code 11solo), $23 Instant Cash Back on any order over $137 (Promotion Code 11and12) , and $36 Instant Cash Back on any order over $200 (Promotion Code 111213).
